REJURAN© Scar – Skin Refinement & Repair
Rejuran Scar is a skin regenerative injectable treatment designed to improve the appearance of acne scars and areas of damaged skin by stimulating the skin’s natural repair processes. The treatment contains polynucleotides (PN) derived from highly purified salmon DNA. These DNA fragments are biocompatible and support cellular regeneration by encouraging tissue repair, improving skin structure and strengthening the skin barrier. Rather than filling scars like traditional dermal fillers, Rejuran Scar works to repair and regenerate the skin at a cellular level, helping improve the depth, texture and overall appearance of scars over time. This treatment has been widely used in Korea and across Asia as part of regenerative approaches for acne scarring and skin damage. Rejuran Scar Treatment Can Help Improve • Acne scars • Depressed or indented scars • Uneven skin texture caused by scarring • Skin damage from previous inflammation • Areas of weakened or thin skin The goal is to stimulate skin regeneration and improve the quality and structure of scarred skin, rather than simply masking the scar. Who Is Suitable • Have acne scars or depressed scars • Notice uneven skin texture from previous acne • Want to improve skin quality in scarred areas • Prefer gradual skin regeneration rather than filling scars • Are looking for a regenerative approach to scar treatment Typical protocol: • 3–4 sessions • Treatments spaced approximately 3–4 weeks apart Additional sessions may be recommended depending on scar severity and skin condition. When Results Start Working • Initial improvement: around 2–3 weeks • Progressive skin regeneration: over 4–6 weeks • Peak improvement: around 2–3 months Patients often notice improvements in skin texture, scar depth and overall skin smoothness. Longevity & Maintenance 6–9 months, depending on individual factors such as skin condition, metabolism and lifestyle. Maintenance treatments twice per year may be recommended to maintain improvements in skin quality and scar appearance. Downtime & Recovery • Small bumps at injection sites • Mild redness or swelling • Occasional bruising Small bumps can be visible for 24–48 hours before settling as the product integrates into the skin. Most patients return to normal activities shortly after treatment. Follow-Up Patients are typically reviewed 3–4 weeks after treatment to assess the skin response and determine the timing of the next session in the treatment plan.
