Excessive Sweating Treatment

Excessive sweating, also known as hyperhidrosis, is a common condition that can affect daily comfort and confidence. Anti-wrinkle injections can be used as an effective treatment to reduce excessive sweating by temporarily blocking the signals from nerves that stimulate sweat glands. When these signals are reduced, the sweat glands become significantly less active, helping keep the treated area drier and more comfortable for several months. This treatment is most commonly performed in the underarm area, although other areas may also be assessed during consultation. Longevity Results typically last 4–6 months, although in some patients the effect can last longer. Many patients choose to repeat treatment once or twice per year to maintain results.
