Advanced Skin Resurfacing Peel
This peel uses the medical-grade Dermaceutic Cosmo Peel 15%, a professional chemical peel formulated with trichloroacetic acid (TCA) to stimulate controlled skin renewal. This treatment helps exfoliate damaged surface cells while encouraging new, healthier skin to emerge. Cosmo Peel is designed to improve overall skin quality by refining texture, softening fine lines, improving brightness, and reducing mild pigmentation and acne marks. To enhance and maintain your results, this treatment includes a FULL-SIZE DERMACEUTIC RADIANCE CREAM for home use. This brightening formula helps support cell turnover and maintain a smoother, more even complexion between treatments. Ideal for • Dull or tired-looking skin • Uneven skin tone • Rough or uneven texture • Enlarged pores • Mild pigmentation • Early signs of ageing What to Expect After the treatment, the skin may feel tight or slightly red. Light peeling or flaking may occur for several days as the skin renews. Most visible peeling typically occurs between day 3–6 and smoother, brighter skin becomes noticeable after about a week. Downtime Minimal to moderate peeling for 3–6 days depending on skin type and strength of peel. Avoid for 5–7 days before treatment • Retinol or vitamin A products • Exfoliating acids (AHA, BHA, glycolic, salicylic) • Scrubs or physical exfoliation • Strong acne treatments • Avoid excessive sun exposure or tanning before treatment • Do not wax or perform hair removal on the treatment area For the first 24–48 hours • Avoid hot showers, heavy exercise, saunas, and heat exposure • Do not wet or aggressively cleanse the treated area for the first 12–24 hours if instructed by your clinician During the healing period • Expect light peeling or flaking between days 2–6 • Do not pick or peel the skin as this can cause scarring or pigmentation changes • Keep the skin hydrated with gentle moisturisers or recommended recovery creams • Avoid active skincare products (retinol, exfoliating acids) until the skin has fully recovered Sun protection • Avoid direct sun exposure for at least 2 weeks • Apply a broad-spectrum SPF daily to protect your skin and prevent pigmentation While visible improvement can occur after one treatment, a course of 3–4 treatments spaced 3–4 weeks apart may be recommended for optimal results and long-term skin improvement.
